account acess info has been reset

I've been trying for days to access my AT&T account. AT&T apparently got hacked and they invalidated all login information...Now what?

You reset your password, validate through your phone ... Just like if you forgot your password...

Hey @lonshanlin, we can definitely help you with logging in to your account.

We recommend following these steps to learn how to reset or change your AT&T Mail password by going to this link https://www.att.com/support/article/my-account/KM1009464/.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Please let us know if this helps!

Tried all of the above MANY times. "Enter your Password and PIN to change your Password and PIN............ Password and/or PIN not recognized.

I finally got to "You can't use old PIN as new PIN"...Except my "old PIN" is how I access/use/unlock my cell phone.

The irony is that my cell number will give me my account status, but the AT&T database doesn't recognize I have an account.

I heard the AT&T database got hacked, AT&T probably needs to hire someone to fix it.

Hi @lonshanlin,

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns.  To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us.  You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support.  If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.
