800-331-0500 is an ATT customer account service number. However, ATT will not call you from this number. They will, however, put this number in correspondence they send to you as the number to call them.

The issue that you have described in this post has already been fully discussed in another Account suspended notice from +1 (800) 331-0500.
In order to avoid board clutter and confusion - this post will be locked.
