Sd-Sdk-400

I gave a Galaxy Watch 4 that has never been able to Numbersync since I got it last summer.  Since then, I've upgraded from a Note 20 to a Fold 4.  Still no Numbersync.  The watch works fine, bluetooth or as a standalone with its own number...just no Numbersync.  All I get is the error message SD-SDK-400.   I've spent hours in the local store and with Cuatomer Service on the phone.  All were unable to fix the problem.  I've done resets if the phone, the Watch, still nothing. The watch is on the same account as the phone.  I was told that it needed its own account to Numbersync,  but now that it is listed with the phone, how can I move it to another account?  Am I missing something?

That error code is a number sync error code which supposedly was resolved months ago.

If you have set up your own access id, go through the process of changing your access ID password. Once the password is changed factory reset the watch.

Verify numbersync is on the phone line..

  1. Getting the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app and making sure you have the most recant version of the app.  The Galaxy where app comes from the Galaxy store. Do not use the Google app from the Google Play Store. That is not for your Samsung wearable
  2. Making sure that Bluetooth is turned on for both your wearable and your smartphone.
  3. You have paired your smartphone and wearable using the Samsung pairing process.
  4. You have an active wireless plan for your wearable
  5. You have a NumberSync user ID for your wearable.

Then follow the set up process mentioned by previous agent. If this doesnt help, check out our troubleshoot & resolve tool to help fix your numbersync concerns. You'll need to sign in or navigate to Fix my wireless>Connection>Messaging to get started.

Re numbersync

Other tips included...

Others say that once they set up numbersync they turned off Wi-Fi on the watch, and the watch begin picking up a cellular signal. After that they were able to turn Wi-Fi back on and number sync functioned.
Numbersync is a bad program it as it does not work well, and has never worked well with Android devices.   If you have unlocked devices (phone) , Samsung's call and text with other devices does function.  If you have Verizon or AT&T branded phones it does not.

I've done these steps, following the exactly,  dozens of times over the past 6 months.  It never works.

I followed your advice and joined the Direct Message. After 4 hours of no response, the agent simply tells me that my devices are not compatible.  I had a Note 20 Ultra, previously, and find it hard to believe that 2 flagship phones are incompatible with a flagship watch.  If that's the case, why wasn't I told about the incompatibility at the time of purchase of the watch?  Completely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Galaxy watch 4 is absolutely compatible with all Samsung phones.

What a lazy reply they gave you.

I did forget to ask if you are using the Wear app from Samsung, not the Google play store 'wear OS'.

My watch for paired immediately with the Samsung app.

Contact Samsung about a warranty replacement.

It is way past time for AT&T to dump this terrible program and replace it with something that functions for both Android and Apple devices.

Yes, I'm using the Samsung Wear app.  The watch works perfectly except for the Numbersync.
