Watch only rings with synced number if phone is on and nearby. Anyone else have that issue?

Did you set up service plan (cellular plan is $10 a month plus taxes) and set up numbersync?
You would want to use the Google where app and number sync to connect your phone and watch so that your watch will spoof calls and texts from your phone's number.
