Number sync turning itself off and on

I have had my Samsung watch 3 for about a month and its worked great until today. I've gotten 19 text messages in a row on my cell phone that say I've disabled number sync, then another one that says I've turned on number sync. My account shows that number sync is turned on and linked to my cell phone number. The number sync option under the watch settings shows off. Nothing I do will keep that number sync button ON on the watch. Im getting flooded by the texts as if someone or something is turning it off at an account level, but they aren't. Texts from my watch are sending through the device number and not my cell phone number any longer... What is going on?
