Not in the Original Packaging
I ordered a Samsung watch 5 from AT&T online.
The box arrived and inside the shipping box was a box that was labeled with AT&T.
It also had on it that the original packaging was damaged in shipping so they used
this box.
It was shipped like that from AT&T.
I got a return label to mail it back to them and I ordered another one online with AT&T.
It arrived the same way.
Is that normal?
They sure as heck would not take it back if I were sending something in with original packaging.

Hello @bassnchris, we understand you're curious to know if it's normal to receive packaging in that form, and we'd be happy to answer.
Be advised, this is common if device packaging becomes damaged during the shipping and transit process. This is to ensure your device is secured in the package when being sent out.
We hope this answers your concerns and feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions.
Thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums for help.

Maybe so, but I want to get the device in it's original packaging.
AT&T will not accept my returning it to them without the original packaging......so why should I accept it from AT&T.
I have returned both devices to AT&T and purchased a BT only device from Samsung.
That worked better since there were several discounts provided.
I got a device for $190 vs the $540 is would have been with AT&T including the service for 36 months.
And a bonus is there is not a contract.
Thank you Lynn, I appreciate your response.
