Help!
I have spent 2 days trying to add my new cellular Apple Watch 8 to my plan. I have already been to the ATT store and purchased the additional line. They had trouble connecting it. I called Apple, and they said that there was more than one plan attached to this watch on my plan. Called the the trouble shoot line twice with the error listed of EDS4018. Still cannot connect. Just filed a case. Can ATT not connect with Apple watches?

AT&T can connect Apple watches just fine.
That particular error maybe indicating you do not have a user ID set up on the phone line you intend to use paired with your Apple watch. Please make sure you have an access ID set up on that line. If you do have an access ID set up on that line try resetting the password and start over. Take your time with the password reset it can take 15 minutes from the time you reset till the time you are able to log in with your new password

The setup and pairing process automatically creates a line on your postpaid AT&T account. You may have to contact AT&T to remove any excess lines that were created in error.

If things are not going correctly you may have to factory reset the watch and go through the process carefully again

I will try that. But, that certainly seems like a simple task that ATT technical support staff could have steared me toward in the 2 hours of speaking with them.
