Galaxy watch 5 pro won't sync with s22 ultra

I bought the galaxy 5 pro and the s22 ultra from att brand new never used. When I tried to sync them it goes thru the process until it gets to the last step, I get a code and says number sync encounter a problem. Talked with customer service going back and forth, transfered  from one to the other. Did this for over 2 months with no answer until a customer rep tells me they aren't capatible with each other. Talking to all those customer service reps, store reps, and not one says its not chapati level. Tried to exchange it, ha funny it no longer was eligible  for a exchanged. Customer service called ME to make things right, never heard another word. To all leave Att alone soon as I can I'm out. The worst and most horrible experience  ever. To anyone out there looking to work with att, don't run they are scammers and will not do anything to help with any issues. Only looking for the dollar and will tell you anything.

Bring it into an AT&T store and have them upload a new esim and let them run it through because they are actually compatible. I got that straight from the Office of the President of AT&T as I just went through that and it took over a year for me to get synced up and they sent me a new watch and lo and behold a Galaxy watch 5 and it synced right up. Bring it into the store let them document it and then file a complaint and have them replace the watch and get it working for you. The Galaxy watch 5 Pro is compatible with the Galaxy s22 Ultra and I'm running the s22 ultra as well.

I just upgraded my Watch 4 Classic to a Watch 5 Pro today (battery life is very important for me, unfortunately, because I really prefer the 4 Classic!), and I cannot get the 5 to connect to my phone.

It's a Samsung phone, it has all of the necessary apps with no updates needed.

The connection process will start, it asks me all of the permission questions, but when it finally gets to the "this may take a few minutes" setup, it freezes somewhere in the 80-90% range (as in the screenshot), and just slowly blinks until it finally says that the connection failed. I've tried it multiple times, I've restarted devices and cleared caches, my old watch is disconnected from my phone, I can't think of anything else that I haven't tried.

Anyone have any clues? I'm just about pulling my hair out in frustration, it's been a long day of nothing going right!
