Error eap.deviceinfo.imei.EAPU70015 (EAPU70015)

I am trying to activate cellular for  my Apple Watch Series 3 and keep getting this error: eap.deviceinfo.imei.EAPU70015 (EAPU70015) .  Please help - have had this watch for several days and cannot get the cellular set up.  Very frustrating.

Thanks!

Hello @crawfem,

Thank you for visiting our Community Forums. Having trouble with activating your phone can definitely become concerning. It's my pleasure to direct you through some steps to take. To begin, we have a great article which will show you step by step instructions on how to activate your new phone or SIM card. If the issue continues, please take a look at the manufacturer's website, which provides a check list of what could be causing the problem.

Please reach back out to us if the problem continues. Have a wonderful rest of the day.

Bit of a useless answer. Clearly this person has taken these steps or they wouldn't get this error. I'm getting the same error, you get this error by taking the steps in that article you are linking to. Except for the last one: "if you get an error, contact us". Could have just said that. Or, what do you know, actually tell us what that error means lol. AT&T really needs to do some usability testing and general QA on their website, because it sux, only a bit 😛 I mean really; that error might as well be in Chinese; it is meaningless to me.
