Embedded SIM Cards (Samsung Galaxy S2 Smartwatch)

 The Samsung Gear S2 watch has an embedded sim card that cannot be removed.  If you go overseas alot of the devices are starting to have embeded sim cards which cannnot be removed.  The AT&T and the TMOBILE Samsung Gear S2 smartwatches have the eSIM embedded sim..   I just don't get how the AT&T reps are oblivious to what they are selling.  If you read about eSIMS you are supposed to be able to go to another carriar and they should be able to provision it OTA for theier network.  (And yes these are GSM devices)  ATT sells a version so does TMOBILE.  They are not CDMA devices as the rep states.  SMH.  I purchased 2 at full price from AT&T however I am finding out that none of US carries have a clue as to how to activate the device if its from one of the other carriers.  Why implement the eSIM if the carriers won't allow you to use it the way it should be used.  Especally if you paid FULL price. I will be gettting a refund and cancelling my account with AT&T this week.  

My plan was to purchase them and get them on the crickett wireles plan for my teenagers.  don't want them added to my AT&T account. (they will pay their own bill)  month on each of them plan.  Crickett wireless is an AT&T MVNO.  I was told they won't be ablet to activate the Gear S2 on their service.  SMH.  This is really crazy.
