After I numbersync, the phone unsyncs itself.
After syncing the watch with the phone, it automatically unsync itself. Also, if phone is turned off or you're one room away, disconnected. Have had many help from support but nothing worked. Was told several times issue escalated and will receive a call from higher knowledgeable techs but never got the call. So, looking in here for any help.

ATT NumberSync is one of the biggest pains in the A! to come across. WHY do you have to remain connected or else the Almighty ATT god will disconnect your NumberSync in 5 days and you will have to start the nightmare all over again. Maybe if Samsung and ATT did not sell crap before it is ready for primetime, ATT & Samsung wouldn't have so many mad customers ! Only way to get a gear s2 to last a day is to put it on power saver and all the updates in the world won't fix it. And then the nasty NumberSync on - off - on off messages

Im also having some issues with number sync and the watch itself. I managed to get the phone and the watch connected but the phone doesnt seem to mirror what she does on the watch. If she sends a text or replies on the watch it doesnt show it on her phone or if she makes a phone call. And the watch kept overheating as we were playing with it to try to get the issue solved and we would have to stop using it for a little while. She has an s7 active and a s3 watch

I'm pretty sure NumberSync only allows for incoming text and calls to automatically transfer but outgoing phone calls from the watch will show the CallerID of the watch and not the cell phone. I'm not sure if outgoing text messages show the watch or phone's number.

Same here , just bought this watch a month ago and have had more issues and ATT is placing blame on Samsung. However, other people I know have the same watch with a different service provider and have never had issues. Good luck, I threatened to leave and they said they slepped me with a huge charge and only want to credit my account $10

AT&T Tech support contacted me and we went through Numbersync setup. I sent the log file from the watch to AT&T and haven't heard anything back. My watch was returned to Samsung for repair and was returned with no problems found but they did replace the battery. NumberSync still does not return the code necessary to complete its setup on the phone. Got a case # from AT&T but have heard nothing since sending them the log file.
I get the feeling it is not a big deal to them or they have given up trying to fix it. Either way it is frustrating to spend $400 on a watch that doesn't do what I bought it for which is to not have to carry my cell phone around.

Yeah, one customer service rep said they'd replace my watch because this started happening 2 weeks after I bought it. Gave me a case number and a $25 credit on my bill. It continues to happen and Samsung said send us your watch but were not going to send you a new one. Maybe we should all look into getting an attorney? Since ATT ans Sumsung wants to play around with people's money!

read your terms of service for ATT and what you agreed to once you turned the watch on.

It doesn't matter , they're playing around with people!! They're selling watches and a service to individuals and not providing any support!! However they're lying and giving the run around on how to fix the problem! It's fraudulent in my opinion 🤷♀️

Since when is support required?(And yes I get what your saying) I have seen companies like samsung never update a device.. Samsung and numbersync do not play well with each other in fringe areas I can tell you that first hand. Neither did the LG sport or LG urbane 2. Apple worked hard to make the apple watch work with numbersync. Samsungs gear app is to blame as is ATT's lack of support for Samsung's watches. They hurried the Galaxy Watch out the door if you ask me. Below the user was asked for log files. Those then go to a team that looks at them who knows how long that process takes.
I was just telling you to read your TOS because a lawyer is a waste of money.
