Watch TV not sponsored data

yesterday I tried using my wife’s watch TV account that she has with her phone plan. I used her account on the app on my phone that was connected to my AT&T wireless internet device. I was then casting the programming to my TV. I checked the data logs today and found that almost none of the data used last night was registered as sponsored data?  

Am I doing something wrong and is there a way to correct the 5GB of data that was used?

Thanks for reaching out! We'd be glad to clarify this for you.

 

Sponsored Data is not supported when casting to a TV. If you used those 5GB of data streaming Watch TV from your phone casted onto your TV, then the data logs were accurate.
