Never signed up for Watch TV, but now my HBO account is somehow tied to it

I am trying to login to HBO Go on a new device with my AT&T credentials to use my HBO service that I have been receiving as part of my unlimited service. Everytime I go to login, it says that it is not part of my AT&T watch package. I never signed up for AT&T Watch service, so I am not sure why I am seeing this. How do I get logged in now? I tried on a different device and got the same thing. Any help would be appreciated!

HBO is included in UNL Plus/Choice plans through AT&T TV NOW and in UNL &More Premium/Elite plans through WatchTV. Which UNL plan do you have? If it is the latter or you recently changed to &More Premium/Elite, you might need to setup WatchTV first before you can continue watching. If it is the former, make sure you are choosing the correct provider when logging in.

Log into HBO Go and sign out of your provider. Choose either AT&T Wireless/WatchTV or AT&T TV NOW depending on which wireless plan you have as described above.

If you are using AppleTV, you might be having trouble with Apple SSO. Uninstall HBO Go and upon reinstall, during initial setup choose no for using your TV provider to skip SSO.

This is from an iPad Air 2 when trying to log into the HBO Go app, using "AT&T Wireless/Watch TV" as the provider. I have the Unlimited Plus Enhanced Multi Line plan and AT&T Now service. HBO works through the ATT Now app, but I want to use the HBO GO app as well.

Good evening @jcd148,

Thanks for reaching out! We definitely want to get you back up and streaming on HBO GO.

What devices is this occurring on? Also, does it allow you to stream on the WATCH TV app, and not HBO GO? Or is it not allowing you to stream on both apps?
