Why doesn't ATT offer a way to stream on a desktop broswer or Windows 10? Will it ever happen?

I just switched to uVerse from a competitor.


Luckily some sports channels like ESPN and NBC let you stream a game with your uVerse logon.


But it gets annoying to have to switch to a different site. It would be nice to keep it simple and just stream from the uVerse website.


I understand Microsoft's UWP is not well liked by developers. But couldn't ATT just have uVerse stream-able in browser using Flash? My provider before ATT had this, which was really nice. It was just like you were watching at home with the same guide and channel numbers. Being in browser using Chrome, Firefox etc., also means it wouldn't just be for Windows users but most desktop PC users.  


I understand not supporting Windows Phone/Mobile because they are about to be EoL if they have not been already. But I think there should be a browser based stream for uVerse since they don't want to make a Windows 10 app.


I noticed ATT Uverse TV boxes use Windows CE, so it's not like ATT is just against using Windows.


Is there any chance this is added in the future? I think it will be a great feature

Thank you so much for the feedback about our service.  We will help get this feedback to our developers for research.


In the mean time, things were actually consolidated on the mobile platform by using the MYATT app. You can stream your shows and movies on that app, which uses your already established AT&T credentials to use.

This MyATT app is just for iPhone and Andriod, correct?

I agree, it is very annoying. Hope at&t get their act together and resolve this otherwise I will definitely be looking for other provider. they said they are upgrading in 4-6 weeks so I am just giving them a chance. If that upgrade is not good, I am considering moving to another provider.

@rekhamorar 4-6 weeks? Oh sweetie, you have been fed a line of bull. I've had Uverse since 2007 and it's never been available. But hope springs eternal....
