"So I have my answer...U-verse dropped it from their line-up."

I'd say your answer is this:

"Jan 1, 2023 WDLI (the affiliate of Court TV) changed to its sister network Bounce."

AT&T has a contract with WDLI's ownership. They can only show was WDLI's channels show.

Blame WDLI.

Isn't it a subchannel? Where did it used to be? What happens when you input the channel numbers via the remote?

Court TV is carried OTA as a sub-channel and Uverse does not carry sub-channels (there are exceptions).

Court TV can be streamed on many platforms & devices.  More info HERE

Channel 17....on UVERSE TV?  There is no Channel 17 on Uverse.

17 would be a local channel.

What are the call letters for your channel 17? They'd start with W or K. Perhaps Google provides the answer.

You're right.  17 would be a local channel.  That's the reason I don't have channel 17.  I've got 13 and 20 (among others of course).

WDLI...and it was the channel Court TV was broadcast on. I did some more research and on Jan 1, 2023 WDLI (the affiliate of Court TV) changed to its sister network Bounce. So I have my answer...U-verse dropped it from their line-up.

BounceTV is a SUB channel (ie 23.3) and Uverse has never carried SUB channels so, no, Uverse did not drop CourtTV.

WDLI decided to move CourtTV to a network that Uverse does not nor has ever carried.
