U-Verse app stopped working on my 4K Fire Stick

After I accepted ATT's new terms, I could not log into the U-Verse app via my 4K Fire Stick.  U-Verse is giving me an authentication error and instructing me to try back later.  (It is not a credentials problem, used erroneous User & PW to test).

I rebooted the Fire Stick, I removed and reinstalled U-Verse app but keep getting the authentication check back later message.

Here to help with with logging in, @JoeCustomer!

 

We have a few steps you can try to remedy this:

  • Reboot your gateway: This can correct any gateway settings that my be preventing you from signing in
  • Resetting your password: This will resync your account that can correct any account settings that may be preventing you from logging in

Give those steps a try and let us know if this helps!

Same issue here, I am getting a care code 205.4. Posted a message on the forum. Tried what @ATTHelp said to do, but that didn't work for me.

Try using your att email, not your primary email.  You can find it under your profile.

The app doesnt look the same, its a different color and uverse will not open. I have reset password, did not work.

We recommend that you try these suggestions, as they will help you with the U-Verse app on your TV.

 

We suggest that you:

 

  • Reboot your gateway because this will refresh the network connection and the equipment.
  • Uninstall and Reinstall the app to make sure that it is fully updated

Every other Application works fine. Uverse app will not open, looks like its a different shade of color than it was before also.
