Uverse App spontaneously changing default receiver

I identify my receivers by the room they are in. They are all connected in my ipad Uverse app. I have set the default receiver to Living Room on my ipad as I use it there almost exclusively.

When I start a movie, for example, I will find that instead of playing the movie in the livingroom it will actually start it in the bedroom. That television is not even turned on! 

I have to "stop" the movie and reset the default. Then I can restart the film. (If I think ahead I check the default and change it if necessary to avoid this issue.)

There is no pattern to this issue except that it is almost always changed when I first use it in the morning. After reset it stays for several "uses" but at some point in the day it switches on me again. This happens a minimum of three times again.

I use the app on my iPad Air with the current IOS update.
