uverse app on iphone and ipad

i am no longer able to sign in to the uverse app on my iphone and ipad ... it has been a problem since at least december 2021

I have tried my regular email log in and my primary member id.  neith of them work   it seems the problem may have started when all att accounts were linked with a single password

Hi there, kakisak! Thanks for posting on the AT&T Community forums about your U-Verse App concern. We can point you in the right direction to get this resolved. 

 

Our ACE, @gr8sho is correct. There is a known concern with the U-verse app at this time. There is no estimated time for resolve for the app sign-in concern. Our techs are working hard to get this back up and running. 

 

Alternatively, you can create a subaccount. Here are the steps to help you with that:

  1. Log on to your myAT&T account. 
  2. After logging in, go to Accounts>Profile, at the top. 
  3. If you have more then one account, choose the account you want to manage of the dropdown.
  4. Select Manage Subaccount users
  5. Choose Add a sub-account.
  6. Read the Terms & Conditions and select Accept.
  7. Complete the required fields and Select Save.

Just a tip: If you created a free AT&T email account after June 12, 2011, and you don’t have AT&T Internet or DSL, you can't create subaccounts.

Hello.  Unlink your U-verse member ID.   
Optionally create a subaccount to use until the backend systems settle down.   Only your U-verse member ID will work for your subscription, either to access the app or to use other network apps for accessing content.

@gr8sho   thanks for the advice ... can you tell me exactly HOW to unlink my Uverse member ID or create a subaccount.  

when i try to you my primary member ID  I get a message that says "Please log in with your U-verse Member ID (email address)"   the email address is different than the Primary Member ID.   !??!?!?!?!?  help

THANK YOU.   this worked and was such an easy fix.  

ATT technical support needs to tell customer about this rather than “we’re working on the app”.

12/27/2022: I can login to the U-verse app on my iPad without problems, however, the keep me logged in check box does nothing. Every tome I access the app, I have to login again. This is quite tedious as my un & pw are long and complex. This has been an issue since spring of 2022. Is a fix available, or are the programmers still asleep?
