U-verse app does not accept my u-verse login

I just installed the u-verse app on my wifi only iPad2 running iOS 8.1.2.

 

I'm using the same login username and password that I use to login to my account on the U-verse web site, but I get the message: "invalid U-verse Member ID or password. If you created an AT&T Access ID, enter your U-verse Member ID with Access ID password."

 

"forgot password" was successful in allowing me to reset the password, so it's finding the account.

 

Why won't the app accept my U-verse login?

Last user w/same issue found he was using a sub account user name and when he used his main ID (same as ATT account signon name) it went thru.  Don't know if that's your problem or not. 😉
