The free HBO/Cinemax weekend preview is not working.

The free HBO/Cinemax weekend preview is no longer working on my TV. It was fine last night, but not now. I chatted with an agent who told me it must be a channel mismatch error and to try again in a few hours. It's 12:24 am here. I would like to watch now, not at 3am in the morning. This is certainly not encouraging me to subscribe to HBO/Cinemax through AT&T. Is anyone else having this problem?

Reboot your DVR.  If that doesn't work, try rebooting the RG.

I've reached that age where my brain went from "You probably shouldn't say that"

"What the heck, let's see what happens."

Thank you. I was waiting to reboot until the show I was recording (on another channel) was over. The reboot worked.

When in doubt, reboot.
