If you only watch two networks that you can get FREE, why even pay for TV service?

Once Tegna, Inc., who owns the affiliate stations, comes to agreement with AT&T they will continue to withhold the station feed. AT&T doesn't want to pay what Tegna is asking.

“in the midst of an ongoing pandemic, Tegna is demanding the largest rate increase we have ever seen, and intentionally blacking out its most loyal viewers. We challenge Tegna to return its local stations immediately while we finalize a new agreement and pledge to pay Tegna retroactively whatever higher rates to which we eventually agree. We share our customers’ frustration, appreciate their patience and intend to do all we can to resolve this matter soon," the spokesperson said.
They're obviously working on a deal. The word "finalize" seems to indicate good things.
However, this "largest rate increase" will absolutely be passed on. All AT&T customers should demand lower increases, or no increase at all.

Hopefully it gets replied to. Please do not clutter up the forums by starting redundant threads. This is not a reply to anyone in this thread, but meant to bump this up past several redundant threads which have been closed.
