New Channel -- The Scientology Network
I see the following new channels on U-Verse TV:
569 -- The Scientology Network
1569 -- The Scientology Network HD
It appears to be a U-300 or higher channel. I have U-200 and don't have it. Because it's a religious channel, U-Verse is probably being paid to air it.

Seems like it was still being pushed live, I was getting the error message that the channel wasn't included with my subscription but I restarted my receiver and its playing fine now. May be the same situation for you or maybe by now it will just play for you without restarting.

Hmm..
Since I don't care about the religious channels, it's gonna stay blocked.
Plus, I like pressing 1 5 5 5 and having that automatically go to ESPN.

As of 11/19 late AM, it was still blacked out on my U-200.
Yet I see it on 11/19 early afternoon.
But yeah...I auto-block all religious, unsubscribed, shopping and SD duplicate channels just to make my guide more easy to manage.

I don't consider Scientology to be a religion. It's a cult. I'm sorry.
That being said, it is being blocked as we speak.

Scientology is FAR from a religion. It's a JOKE. It's a RIP OFF. It is a FOR PROFIT SCAM. I PROTEST that it is on AT&T. I want it OFF of my Channels. I don't believe in supporting the crap that they pull. I'm VERY disappointed with AT&T.

Press menu on the remote
Go down to options.
You should see the option to hide channels.
You can do that with as many channels as you wish.
When I get a new receiver, I make one pass with every channel I'm not subscribed to, plus religious and shopping channels.
I then do SD duplicates of channels I get in HD (say 602 because I can watch ESPN on 1602.)
The downside is that if there's a free preview (like the one now of every premium channel), then I have to unblock channels and then re-block after the preview ends...but it's a small price to pay.
If you lose power or move the receiver, the box remembers the settings.

Scientology is not a religion! It is just more worthless disinformation posing as science. I really don't understand why AT&T would even carry it on their TV service. It's been blocked on my TV along with all the other shopping and religious channels. Certainly seems like AT&T just keeps adding these crap channels and never adds anything good.
