Mobile app temporarily unavailable

I've been getting this same error for months, just upgraded phones and it's still doing it. I know the login is right, I have WiFi turned on, I don't know what else it could be.

The error is "The U-verse mobile service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

Thank you for reaching out to us in the Community Forums, we'd love to help with your App concern. What mobile device are you using? Are you sure you are using the correct ID to sign in? Did you make any changes on your account?

To get started, please Find your Correct ID just to be sure you have it right. We suggest that you clear cache on your mobile device, uninstall the App, restart your device, re -install the app and then try again.

I've tried the recommendation above and get the same results. This has been going on for 6+ months. I amusing the Google Pixel 3

I have had the same problem for 6 plus months also. I also have tried all the recommended steps with no luck. On my iPhone XS Max and ipad.

I had the same issue. Not sure how to explain how I fixed it, but I did have to use a computer to do it and tried logging in and updating all the profile settings available. If I would have known what would fix it I would have taken some screenshots for everything . Anyway  in the Overview landing Page in the upper right hand corner next to my name it shows Alerts and Notices, I'm not sure how it was worded but once I opened Notices and clicked the link ( I had 2 Notices but it disappeared after I clicked on it) , it did say that I needed to confirm my account id/email the one I use to log into AT&T in order to be able to log in to things like HBO Go etc. Apparently you need it to be able to Log In to Uverse App as well. Once I did that I received an email from AT&T. And I'm attaching some print screens to show what I am referring to. It was really annoying not to be able to find a simple answer. I'm sorry this isnt the most clear fix. I was just trying anything and everything I could think of .

I don't have any similar notices to that. I feel like I've clicked everything trying to get it working.

The issue I had was that the registration was not completed. The fact that my registration is not completed is entirely NON-obvious.

I had NO notification via E-Mail.

I had 1 tiny notification in the MyATT page, but only if I knew where to look.

And that tiny notification had a link that did NOT work with Chrome (probably a pop-up or other browser-specific issue).

Tried it with FireFox, and was able to follow the link through the registration process.

 

Another thing worth noting is that I had U-Verse before, and I am re-using my fullname@att.net address as my account ID.

You may have to suffer through the on-line or phone bank support to get them to fix whatever additional issues they had.

The support person claimed that my account was attached to a "dummy account", which sounds bogus because when I previously logged in to MyATT, it showed me my exact billing information, TV subscription and Internet subscription along with my expected E-Mail address.

 

In the end, I was able to access the app after this process was over.

I am still having the same problem as others. I even spent several days bouncing around with a service tech in on online chat. the tech even kicked the problem up the chain. Then crickets.... nothing back... just left me hanging. This is outrageous. i also had done everything that was suggested... dozens of times. nothing worked, and ATT seems unable to fix it or to care.
