Loss of channels

AT&T has failed to properly prepare for the  anticipated end of contract negotiation with Nexstar - resulting in the loss of ABC station, a MAJOR network. This continues to happen, as in the past, when other channels were removed from the lineup - as your customers continue to pay increased costs in service. We set up another TV(purchased an antennae) that would give us this basic channel for the interim - assuming we will get the channel back at some time in the future!  I think it's time to contact other providers who can provide continuing service that we PAY for and don't get with AT&T.

TVPromise says no CBS issues.  I’m just going by the press release.  It says CBS in Tampa is a CBS owned station and back on.  But it’s not back on.

Oh well.

Will Directv Now be issuing a billing credit to our accounts for now having CBS and NBC?

We have been without our local channels for CBS and NBC for well over a month. When is this going to be corrected. I'm ready to change providers if something is not done SOON!!

When ordered and recived my direct tv package..it was to include all local stations. One year into my contract, direct tv and CBS decide to part ways for whatever reason. CBS is one of the main stations i watch After keeping my end of the contract by paying each month, Direct TV has failed in their end of the contract to give me what i singed up for. Thus breaking the contract. But i am required now to pay a penalty (20.00 per month) if i leave direct tv , and go somewhere else to see the channel i want tobwatch..How is this even fair when ive done everything on my end but Direct TV has not!!

The NBC channel holdout has been going on for some time now.  Longer than any other channel has in the past for DirecTV.  I have subscribed to NFL Season pass for years and look forward once again to this season.  If this NBC holdout is not resolved before the season starts, NFL season pass (as well as NFL network) will not have some games available. Season pass games are blacked out when they are available on ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox. First game this year is the Bears vs Packers on Sept 5th on NBC. I am a Bears fan and will not be happy if this happens.  Many NFL Season pass holders irregardless of team affiliation will be upset considering the amount of money we pay each year for the ability to watch our respective teams complete season.  Can you update me on where this hold out stands and what DirecTV is doing to avert this problem?   Thanks

why is wkrn channel 2 is not longer available and all the channels that comes with it …..# You guys are greedy

why don't you take some of the pay channels out , ….you have more of those than regular programs

I am so unsatisfied with you guys , that I am really sorry I ever have service with you,

it has  been nothing but problems , and then yet you are still charging the same amount or more of my service

you can believe , I am pulling OUT OF  the WIRELESS  family plan and the U-VERSE BUNDLE THAT I have with you guys

Been posted 100's of times. Status is:

AT&T has started to warn some subscribers that as part of this new deal with CBS AT&T must strike a deal with each CBS station’s owners before it can be added back to DIRECTV NOW and AT&T TV NOW. In the past, CBS negotiated on behalf of all the local CBS stations. (That is why all CBS locals went dark when CBS’s contract with AT&T ended.) Now it seems that CBS’s new contract no longer includes rights for independently owned and operated CBS affiliate.
AT&T’s new deal with CBS owned locals, CBS Sports Network, and the Smithsonian Channel all return to AT&T owned streaming service soon. Sadly one thing left out was the fact that some independently owned CBS stations still have to strike a new contract with AT&T.
