Loss of ABC Channel

For a week or more we haven't received the ABC network here.  It came back for a day the last week and then it's gone again.  I understand contracts and that your legal department should of been on top of this and apparently weren't.  I'm reading where your NBC channel had been dropped and is back on.  WHAT ABOUT ABC?????

And, will we be reimbursed for the time we don't get to use this channel we're paying for?  Seems only fair....

We all the script about the go the link provided. Which is total B S.

Call direct TV and follow the prompts for the cancelation dept.

Tell them the issue. they will send you, free of charge, an LLC device that will act as an antenna to get you the locals until this is resolved. It's not great but better than nothing. Also ask for a discount. I got both. $20 off for 1 year.

I have lost  NBC channels and now CBS, I guess you forgot we have a contract in which i pay you and you provide me with channels. Its no wonder you losing customers.  Oh and by the way channel 570 cannot be tuned in with a free air antenna. Also your $10 one time payment is an insult.

At least some of you got $10 credit, we were only given $5 credit. This has become a very insulting situation. We rely on ABC for our morning news (GMA) and our evening world news (w/David Muir). We totally despise the alternatives!!! You have had more than enough time to get this straightened out. GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTTS AND MAKE THE DEAL ALREADY!!!!!!  If you can't fix this by Labor Day we will be cancelling our service and going with something more reliable, something that works for the customers satisfaction, not the company's.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

Not getting my local CBS channel and it is football season.  This is a reason I will discontinue a service that repeatedly increases in price yet constantly removes channels but not the channels that should go.

So help me if ATT loses the ABC channels in my area, I will cancel my service. I already had to deal with ATT losing CBS for weeks earlier this summer.  Hello, Xfinity are you out there?

The ABC channels are only affected if ABC owns your local affiliate. In my area, my ABC affiliate is owned by Sinclair. I would not be affected.

The Disney talks seem to be progessing, as short-term agreements have been made. This also seems to be good news for ACC Network.

I lost CBS for a while in the summer. If I lose ABC, then AT&T you will
lose me as a customer.

I am not happy about losing ABC Channel but I do understand contracts with other companies.  I lost my job because a contract could not be negotiated to fit my employer.  I love The Good Doctor which is probably the only thing I watch on ABC.  It is a liberal station so it is rarely on my list.  I hate to hear these people threatening to drop Direct TV because of one station.  What they really want is for you to offer them more incentives to stay.  I say let them go as I read daily in Nextdoor of customers who are very unsatisfied with their current company and it isn't ATT.  Yes, I say please, if possible keep ABC but it will not degrade my quality of life if I have to lose it.  Thanks ATT for my service and your service people.

I'm not happy with it, either (and we also watch The Good Doctor), but I blame it on the entertainment industry structure, not specifically on AT&T. Instead, I keep an inexpensive digital antenna happy for the inevitable service disputes, and cruise right along.
