Local Channels are out
I live in the Lawrenceville, GA area and all the local channels are not working (get error message "TV signal has been lost".) Other channels are working just fine. Anyone else having this problem? Any idea when it will be resolved?
Thanks for any info you can share, Dee

Thank you for taking the time to make us aware of the issue. We have worked with our technicians and the services should be restored soon if not already.

Me too! But still a lot better than Direct TV that used to degrade on all channels during heavy overcasts/rain.

Thanks, it's helpful to know it's not just me. Have you heard anything about when the problem might be fixed?

Local channels out in Decatur, GA also. Looks like they are out all over the metro area.

I am having the same issues in Suwanee GA. It is a local system problem and we will be lucky if it is ever fixed. For the last hour and a half I 've been attempting to use their 'self-help' programs. They are as useless as their service. I have tried to use on line chat and I have been on-line for an hour. and I have yet to connect with a chat person. You can't contact them because you can't get a unit that is open after 7:PM local time.
D--n them. I have a chocve between Charter, DirectTV and Dish. I don't have to put up with this c**p and I'm not.
So long U-Verse.

Thanks David. My channels are back now. As someone else mentioned, I've seen more "glitches" in my TV service today than any other time since I've had this service. Hopefully it's all now resolved!

I live in mid-Michigan and my U-Verse goes out, on all channels, EVERY night between 9pm - 9:30pm! Tonight it went out at 8:40pm and was out for 10 minutes. These outages are getting old, which is the reason I have signed onto this site and am now visiting this community board. I have called AT&T Technical Support on numerous occassions and two months ago they sent a technician to my home and switched out my receiver. They now say it is fixed. It's not fixed. It still goes out every night. You are all fortunate that your outage is intermittent. My outage is nightly.

@JLW571 , it sounds like you have a different problem. He had an area-wide VHO issue with local channels. You probably have a line issue. Therefore, I'd suggest that you click this
U-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your problems with TV going out. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope
in the upper right hand corner of this site, next to your name and avatar) in a business day or three.
This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including your Billing Account Number, and the best time and way to reach you.

I'm sorry JLW that your experience has been that bad. That's the kind of experience I had with DirecTV (who tried as hard as they could to fix it), so I changed to Uverse and it has been great until today. And it was fixed in short order today, so I give them credit for that.

Dang Tom, so sorry your experience was bad. When I used the help section it let me know there might be a local problem. So I came to the message area. The tech that saw my post got on it and it was fixed within about 20 mins. I call that good customer service.
