Is U-verse going away?

I went to an Att store to upgrade phone while waiting he wanted to know about my tv service. I told him that I had DirecTV and he told about a great deal for U-verse tv. I have Uverse internet and phone service I switch to Directv from u-verse tv three years ago because I was told U-verse tv was going to be phased out. Has Att changed their mind about getting rid of U-verse tv? I am in the Chicago area. I wouldn't mind going back to U-verse if it here to stay.

Nothing about "phasing out" uverse.  Att is however renaming various services.  So in that sense, maybe "uverse" won't be called "uverse" any longer and if you want to call that "phasing out" then ok, it's being phased out! Man Wink

There was some articles in the past about att combining DTV and uverse using some common equipment.  But I have heard nothing more about that.
