Go to their website http://www.iontelevision.com/  Click on "Find" in the upper right hand corner and enter your zip code.  If it is carried as a subchannel (38.1) you may not receive it in your market.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

I thought #.1 channels were the primary digital channels.  Usually, 38.1 would be on channel 38 (SD) or 1038 (HD, if available).

Do you know the station's call letters?  Sometimes the numbers don't correspond to the "real" numbers, especially if the station has been around a long time and cable companies would put it in the 2-13 range (back in the days when cable TV was limited to 12 channels).  For example, in the San Francisco area, channels 36 and 44 are almost always on channels 6 and 12 on cable.

Here's an idea:
Go to www.titantv.com; enter your ZIP code, and select "over the air".  Scroll down to channel 38 (or 38.1) to see what the call letters are.  Once you have that, bring up the U-Verse on-screen guide, and scroll down until you see the same call letters (they should be somewhere on channels 1-99).

If it is any of these stations, try looking at the listed channel number (or add 1000 for HD):

KPXN, San Bernadino - 30
WINP, Pittsburgh - 16
WCPX, Chicago - 43
WEPX, Greenville, NC - 51
WPXR, Roanoke - 36
