Let's help clear things up about the NBA League Pass free preview, @IkeThunderton72!
As our helpful ACE @baseballisback stated, your U-verse TV package must include HD channels in order to view the preview of NBA League Pass.
If you do have HD channels, please let us know. We may need to try some troubleshooting steps.

Have never had to have HD channels before in order to see a free preview...is this something you've changed now???

These channels are different. Because they're only in HD, you need the HD tier.
If it was something like the recent Showtime preview, you'd get the SD Showtime channels if you don't subscribe to HD.
