Five quick actions you can take to help restore Music Choice
1. Call 1-800-ATT-2020, ask for Uverse technical support, TV, and say "representative." Tell the service rep that you are displeased with Stingray and you want Music Choice restored. When I did that, the rep provided 2 links which may or may not be of value. Read on.
2. Browse to http://uversechannels.att.com/ and complete the channel survey by requesting Music Choice.
3. Browse to http://uverse.com/web_files/NEXTGEN/web_files/uverse-custom/one-offs/fighting-4-you/dk_fighting4you.html. Enter a comment requesting Music Choice.
4. Reply to this forum entry.
5. I have not done this, but I know that AT&T is sensitive to twitter deluges.
Let's get Music Choice back, Spin.

It's my understanding that very few "persons with power" read this forum. Getting at them via social media or the uversechannels.att.com link might be better.

Sorry, the ATT Honco in Dallas has told people it's gone and dead to Uverse also relayed through ATT channels here.
Personally I like Stingray much better than I did Music Choice.

@Welcome! Don't be a stranger on the forums, @gspinney .
Some good replies from @baseballisback and @mibrnsurg . Sadly what Chris has said, sounds like the truth, Music Choice is dead, to AT&T.
They have signed a contract with Stingray and I bet it is exclusive. If this contract is for U-Verse, it will last 3-5 years. Sucks!
It's not the first time that U-Verse ditched Music Choice in favor of a lesser competitor. When U-Verse started, they had the industry leader in Music Choice. Not long after inception, they switched to Urge. The complaints on the old uverseusers.com website started immediately. You know what most of the complaints were? Poor songs, cover songs instead of the real ones and many songs repeated. Hmmm, sounds just like Stingray! Just like it! Even through the complaints, AT&T never backed down, carrying Urge until Viacom pulled the plug on the service. The last two or so years, Urge was basically a bot - the service had no active, current programmers and the music just played in some loop. I heard "Just checked in (to see what condition my condition was in)" by Kenny Rogers and the 1st Edition, like 6 times in one day, on their oldies channel.
I doubt that Stingray is that bad but it is close. Some like it. Some also liked the Yugo automobile. I hate it. there are a few good channels but most have a "foreign" feel to them.
Although it won't do much good, I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at AT&T Customer Care, and someone will get in touch with you. At least that way, they will know how you feel.

I think a major first step would be to get the channels so that the music automatically starts playing when a user types in a channel number. Press the "up" or "down" button and the box would adjust to the next channel.
At least AT&T could control that. I doubt they can control the music, just the same like they can control the programming on ESPN, HBO, CNN, etc.
