espn3

Just switched to U-verse from ATT DSL and so far am somewhat satisfied.  My husband on the other hand, not so much.  On DSL he watched ESPN3 video with no issues.  Now that we have Uverse, when he tries to watch video, he gets the user not authorized error.  I have searched the internet for answers and tried all that i found.  I have tried also by logging into ESPN with my account and choosing the ATT uverse as the provider but I still get "user not authorized".  I do not have Uverse TV, I have DISH.  Can anyone help before I switch back to DSL?

Since Aug 5, 2013 ESPN FAQ states must be subscribed to an approved tv provider to access espn3.
Uverse TV service qualify, uverse internet service does not.

From similar topic posted...
If reading FAQs properly, since August 5, 2013 espn3 is only available on watchESPN which requires a video (TV) subscription from an approved provider, uverse is approved but you will need to sign up for tv package of u200 or above

Here is the FAQ listing for ESPN - http://espn.go.com/watchespn/faq#rec10

The trip from AT&T DSL to AT&T U-verse Internet is one way.  There is no going back.
