ESPN Player Error ES0002

I'm new to the AT&T U-verse app. Trying to watch ESPN live,  I'm getting the following message (for 2 days now on all ESPN channels):

"ESPN Player error. Please try again.  (ES0002)"

Let us help you with your streaming app, @BBrewer.

What device are you using? Did you refresh your device?

To get started, we suggest that you clear cache on your device, uninstall the app, refresh device, re-install the device and see if that helps.

I have an Android tablets and when trying to login to ESPN I get the player error es0002. I have cleared the cache. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I use Chrome, and it is up to date. Still get the error message on ESPN channels.

It’s working for me under iOS 14.  I’ll also test with an Android tablet later.  FWIW, I too had seen the error message not too long ago.

It's an older android table with 7.1. It works fine on my phone, galaxy S8 with Android 10.

I don’t have a straight android tablet, but the Fire HD8 I have did stream ESPN correctly.   The issue does seem to come and go from time to time.
