Error Code QP1005 “Jailbroken Device”?

i downloaded the official ios14 public beta when it first came out, and now I can’t watch U-Verse on my phone because it says that it’s Jailbroken. The official release of ios14 came out and I downloaded the official update and it still says my phone is Jailbroken. 

please help

As with any new Apple iOS, it does take some time to update our apps once it's released. We'll get you streaming as soon as our AT&T nerds get everything set up. We should have that updated for you very soon! 

 

Sometimes deleting the app and downloading a fresh version may help as well once our update is released.

i just install the new software update for iphone (it accepts 6s still) which is 14.0 and when I try to watch uverse app on my iphone and click on a tv show it starts to load and has a gear spinning then a error message pops up saying "Playback not allowed on jailbroken device" qp 1005. How do I fix this?

Hello @indianajana, let’s get your entertainment back to your phone.

 

iOS 14 is the latest and greatest from Apple, however we have not yet updated our applications to the new specifications which can cause issues. Our new updates may not be ready just yet. Some updates are rolled out slowly and not all devices will get them at the same time. This is a safety precaution in case of issues.

 

Just in case there are some other problems going on we will want to follow these steps to address this error code that is claiming your device is (Edited per community guidelines).

  1. Make sure you are using the correct member ID to sign in. You can find it here
  2. Reset the device
  3. Delete cache
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app
  5. Reset your password – This can help sync up your account.
  6. In some instances, restoring the phone has resolved app function. You may lose pictures and other data if this is performed and your information is not back up.

I see it as well. I guess we will have to wait for the U-verse app to be updated. I rarely use it anyway. Only to set recordings when I am not home.

The application version 6.4 build 5 does not stream channels and won’t work with new iOS . Att U-verse needs to upgrade software! The error I get is playback not allowed on (Edited per community guidelines) phone (code QP1005)

In the meantime, I'd just use the regular channel apps. It's not ideal, but keep checking the App Store for updates.
