DVR Won't Record New Shows

I have used my DVR for some time and it still records previously set up programs. However, for this new Fall season, I've tried several times to record a new show and when I go to the Record Series screen and click on "search" and find the show, click on the show, there is no option to record the series as I have done in the past. I can only watch them via "on demand" which is not what I want to do. Why can't I record them as I have in the past? (The issue is NOT that the DVR won't record, the issue is that I cannot access "record series" option anymore).

I would try a reboot of the DVR.  Remove the power wait a few seconds and plug it back in.

No, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds to reset everything.

 

Might do the same to the RG(modem) first as that's the connection to the ATT servers that seem to be causing the problems.  Good luck 😉

Go to the guide. Then go to your specific show, and record the series by hitting the record button twice. You should see 3 red dots.
