Dishonest ATT Practices
I had been a long time ATT customer, but getting ready to dump them because of their dishonest business paractices. I called ATT in August to complain about poor service I was recieving. The representative offered me a 50 credit. However she did not mention or disclose that by accepting the $50 dollar credit I was obligating myself to continue service with them for another year, which I never would have accepted knowing this fact which I found out later. My rates actually increased after they supposedly extended my " agreement." Tried to call ATT and discuss this matter, but they insisted on keeping the charges for cancellation or any alteration of my service pending. it appears going to court is my only option to protect my credit score and to fight the deceptive "contract"practices ATT pursues daily. If anyone can offer advice about small claims court vs ATT it would be much appreciated.
Sad that ATT feels it can be so dishonest and deceptive to their once loyal customers.

My problem is with the Direct TV portion of MyATT. I recently bought a smart TV and called to have the smart TV box installed. When the tech got to my home he told me I could put the the box in any room so I chose to put it in another room. What he didn't tell me was that it was going to cost me $17.86 a month to do that. I was surprised with a bill of almost $208.00 for MyATT services. These prices are ridiculous for the service provided. Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc... is looking pretty good.

You might want to re-post your comments in the DirecTV forum. This is the Uverse TV Apps forum and I'm assuming it's two different platforms.
