Can Anyone Fix the UVerse App?

I have to login to the UVerse app every day.  In a previous post, I thought we had it fixed, but it only stays fixed until I turn my cellphone off and back on.

I have cleared cache & data, stopped the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and made sure app is connected to DVR and phone used as a remote.

Once I turn the phone off and restart it, all info is cleared out.  I must login again.  I cannot see recordings or see scheduled recordings. 

 

Can anyone fix the UVerse app?

Hello @jjcoker1,

We'd be happy to help you find a resolution! To make sure we are on the same page, is the issue you're experiencing with needing to sign into the app only after you completely turn off the phone and turn it back on, or does it also happen after locking the phone, then unlocking it?

If this only happens after you completely turn off the device, then this would be a security feature of the app to ensure that you, the account holder, are the one in possession of the device before allowing the user to manage the U-verse TV service.

It only happens when I turn the phone off and back on the next day,  But, I connected my phone to the Receiver (to be used as the remote) a week before.  I was out of town this past week and I could not see my recordings or my scheduled recordings.  When I got home, I checked to see if my phone was still connected to the DVR, and it was not.  I never used to have this problem   I could check to see what I had recorded or didn't have recorded when out of town and schedule it if not scheduled.
