Blackouts of image and sound

Anyone out there experiencing one second blackout of image and sound? Does not happen on instant rewind. Does not happen on second television.

Unplug everything.

Plug gateway back in and wait for normal operations.

Plug WAP back in and wait for normal operations.

Plug DVR back in and wait for normal operations.

Plug receivers back in and wait for normal operations.

What's the result?

I have tried all the above steps. I’m trying to figure if the problem is with the box or with my tv.

Use the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool on U-verse TV to run diagnostics on your service and find out what's causing this:

  1. Press Menu on the U-verse Remote Control.   
  2. Scroll down to Help, then press OK.   
  3. Select Information.
  4. Scroll to Troubleshoot & Resolve, then press OK.   
  5. Select the service you want to troubleshoot and allow the interactive diagnostic test to run and complete.   
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to resolve. Other options may include dispatching a technician or speaking to a Customer Care agent.

With AT&T (and other TV services), lots of computers need to be in synchrony with each other. If one goes even slightly haywire, things can go wonky.

Restarting the tech is always a good first step...phones, laptops, tablets, tv.
