Oooh... Discovery is up for renewal?  This could get interesting, given the value drop from the launch of Discovery+.

Indeed. I bet they renew, but yeah... considering a lot of shows debut on Discovery+, let's see what happens.

The other interesting one is Newsy. It seems as if it's just going away from U-Verse. I can't wait for the OPW who post about they have U-450 and pay $400+ mo "just for Newsy."

@JefferMC

Well now!

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/16/att-in-advanced-talks-to-merge-warnermedia-with-discovery.html

I wonder what this means for Discovery+ and channel negotiations. I'd love:

1) A D+ tab in HBO Max.

2) Easy-peasy negotiations for the channels.

Let's see.

Of potential note:

Verizon includes Discovery+ in some phone plans.

AT&T includes HBO Max in some phone plans.

Let's see what unfolds.

Saw that earlier this afternoon.  Why do these companies buy up everything just to sell if off a few years later?

Yeah, I'm getting Discovery+ "included" for 11 more months on VZW.
