Att U-verse Firestick App
Hey everyone,
We just got U-verse, and looking to avoid paying any extra fees. I’ve been looking into getting fire sticks for our bedrooms but have read mixed reviews about the app. If it’s on our home U-verse WiFi network can we access all channels included in our U-200 service, live tv and on demand? Any advice would be helpful, couldn’t find anything too detailed about this.

The Uverse app does not have EVERY channel. It depends on the market. For example, I get the local NBC station but not ABC or Fox on the app. Others have reported that they get no local channels.
Depending on your TV watching requirements, the app might not suit your needs.

Keep in mind that many channels also have their own apps.
Unless AT&T is offering you a promotion on the extra receivers, I would add them on later.
Another idea would be a Slingbox...say your main TV gets the DVR and your secondary TV gets the Slingbox to watch via a third or fourth TV. Keep in mind that you wouldn't be able to watch anything besides the Slingbox on that second TV if it's being used.

Are the channels available through the iOS app the same for the Fire Stick app? Local channels aren’t a huge concern.
