AT&T U-verse app not working - Help and Solutions

Having trouble signing into the U-verse online app?  Not able to sign into HBOGO or ESPN? Were you able to before? Having trouble accessing it from your mobile device? How about a tablet or phone? Not to worry!! We have some recommendations that may help!

 

How to fix your Mobile app from my Smartphone or Device 

  1. Make sure you are using the correct member ID to sign in
  2. Restart the device.
  3. Delete cache. Varies on phone, browser or device operating system.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app
  5. Verify you have the latest software/ operating system on your phone or tablet 
  6. Turn off other apps that may be in use
  7. Make sure you have U-verse TV service and an appropriate package – if you do not have U-verse TV, you can see if it is available by signing into your account at att.com.
  8. Reset your password – This can help sync up your account.
  9. In some instances, restoring the phone has resolved app function. You may lose pictures and other data if this is performed. 
  10. Also, be sure to report/post a review in the applicable software store for your affected device to help address an issue.

Note: U-verse TV customers can have up to five mobile devices registered per ID (master or sub) at any given time.

 

The U-verse app requires that you have the latest iOS. If your device is not compatible with the latest iOS, the app will not workTo view online content, you must be subscribed to the U200 or above. 

How to fix your app from my Computer or Browser 

  1. If you are using a browser, make sure you have the latest browser. In some cases using a browser like Chrome or Firefox has improved the experience.
  2. Closeout the browser and restart it
  3. Delete Cache and Cookies
  4. Update the browser to the latest version. Check our list of supported Operating Systems and Browsers.

 

uverse.com update:

AT&T is ending support for U-verse streaming via U-verse.com through supported browsers, Effective October 31st. AT&T customers will still have access through the Uverse.com on the iOS and Android platforms. Not available on Windows OS.

Why is my TV locking up every 20 seconds. I change the channel and I can watch it for 20 seconds and it locks up again. Fix it asap or I will go to Comcast. You are not worth the money!

Looks like my 2-wire system is buffering or something. Now I can watch a channel for 10 seconds. Getting old fact--time you AT&T to hire some new techs, the ones they have can't handle the job. I hope Comcast is better!

Whenever I try to log into the U-Verse app, I get the following error:

Login Failed

The U-verse mobile service is temporarily unavailable.  Please try again later.

OK

 

I can log into the website without issues.

 

I used to have a different U-Verse account associated with my current user id, if that makes any difference.

 I recently converted from Xfinity and their app worked perfectly to DirecTV and their app worked perfectly, now I have U-verse and while it will show me all the programs I cannot open a single one I just get an error code .   if the other companies can do it why can’t  u-verse ?

  • I was having the same issue and the tech had to cancel out all previous login id’s and start over with a new id and a new password

I am unable to log into the U-verse app with my login information.   It works on the AT&T app.  Should I use a different log in?

This is unreasonable.   Clear all web site cookies because it MIGHT address the Uverse app problem?

 

and suggestion 9, reset the phone to factory defaults is plain unethical.   Not only is it unreasonable, but a slightly computer illiterate user may end up erasing precious, often unrecoverable information.

my husband has the fire stick and download the uverse app to watch local live TV and the login I use for the website and the app on my phone will not work on the app he has! Why? can he even watch local channels on the app? Please help he is driving me crazy with this!!
