I’m really confused about your reply so maybe you can “enlighten” me about AT&T’s concept about “improving customers’ experience”.

I live in Atlanta, GA, which is in the heart of ACC territory as GA Tech is located in Atlanta, and currently U-verse offers customers (channel offerings) the SEC Network (logical because we’re also in the heart of SEC territory), the BIG 10 Network (no BIG 10 school is within probably 500 miles of Atlanta), and the Texas Longhorn Network (again, the University of Texas is beyond 500 miles from Atlanta). I realize there are alum from some of the schools that are included in those two Networks around Atlanta, however, geographically speaking, far more ACC fans are in the area than BIG 10 and Texas Longhorn fans, so it makes no logical sense U-verse will force us to have these two Networks and not provide the ACC Network.

To make matters worse, the ACC offers some of the most elite collegiate sports programs in the Nation, and if there’s a Network that should be offered to all of your subscribers instead of the ones currently forced on us, it would be the ACC Network.

  • The ACC has won seven national championships in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball since 2015. That is the most of any conference and the next closest conference has four. The ACC is the only conference to win each of those four titles over that stretch.
  •
  • The ACC's seven national titles in those sports have come from six different programs – Virginia men’s basketball (2019), Clemson football (2018, 2016), Notre Dame women’s basketball (2018), North Carolina men’s basketball (2017), Duke men’s basketball (2015), Virginia baseball (2015).
  •
  • The ACC has won more football national titles than any other conference since 2013 (three of the last six) and more men’s basketball national championships than any other league since 2015 (three of the last five).

As you can see, the ACC Network will provide your viewers with the best sports offerings of all, so wouldn’t that “improve your customers’ experience”?

Is U-Verse going to work out a deal to carry the ACC Network when it launches this summer? Direct TV worked out a deal, and so has pretty much every other major carrier.

I live in Atlanta, which in smack-dab in the middle of the ACC territory with GA Tech being located a member of the Conference and located here, and U-verse offers subscribers the BIG 10 Network and the Longhorn Network, which don’t have any of their member Universities within 500 miles of our viewing audience (just some Alum). The ACC will now broadcast their games on their network, which means if fans of GA Tech want to watch their Team play WE HAVE TO HAVE THE ACC NETWORK. I would add that I would hope AT&T would offer this Network to everyone as the ACC has shown over the past several years that this Conference has produced some of the top Collegiate Athletics in the entire Country:

AT&T has already contracted with the ACC Network to Broadcast on your Direct TV, so it makes no logical sense that you are not going to offer it to your U-verse customers as well. The time is running out to get this done. If I need to speak to the Office of the President, please advise.
