HBOMax removed from Grandfathered plans
In early January, my HBOMax account stopped working after having it set up for years.
I chatted with support multiple times and was transferred to multiple people.
At the end of the conversation, I was just told that ATT is removing HBOMax services from all their plans, including older plans.
It just seemed off that I was given this answer when all the ATT documentation still states that several older plans still have access.
Is anyone else experiencing the same?

Hello, @auser58844! We can help you find out if you still have access to HBO Max through your grandfathered plan.
There are some grandfathered AT&T Unlimited Plans that still include access to HBO Max:
We hope you find this information helpful, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

I've got the same problem. Had HBO Max included with my Unlimited Plus until 2 weeks ago.
A trouble ticket was issued last week and I haven't heard from AT&T since.

Yes, I also had a ticket opened during my first conversation, but I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. That is when I reached out again and they gave me that answer.
I have the AT&T Unlimited PlusSM
By the response of ATTHelp, I need to spend another couple of hours with support to get a different answer.

Since HboMax is changing to Max, am I going to have access to Max? Or is it done completely

According to this (non-authoritative) article, you'll get to keep it. It also says you should have gotten an e-mail telling you that.

Any resolution? I’m going through the same thing right now. 3 months trying to get reinstated so far.

I'm dealing with the same issue and have spent literally hours on the phone and in chats with zero resolution. This feels very much like a bait and swtich and like AT&T is trying to get customers off of these plans. In my case, I've had HBO for years...years. Suddenly it disappears and I just get the run around despite making no authorized changes to my account. Feels very dirty.
