Getting an error when I log on to HBO Max on my phone

I keep getting an error while attempting to log on to HBO Max through the app on my phone, though I am able to log on and watch on the computer.

The error message is as follows: 

Can't verify your subscription

The email address or password is incorrect. Please try again.

Service code: Hdb3b53a7-6f38-4dfd-a272-991b87924fed

I am unable to switch to a screen to verify my email or password. I have deleted and downloaded the app in an attempt to clear the error but that did not work.
