Any way to add UHD to HBO Max by paying the difference?

I believe that the "free" subscription to HBO Max does not include 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos quality tier.  Is there any way of paying the difference and enabling those features?

Or I could switch to a different "free" streaming option w my AT&T subscription.  What other streaming subscription could i switch to?

There is not.  Just paying the difference would have to be something that HBO chooses to do, and they haven’t.  AT&T has no pull with HBO since they got bought out.  It’s probably lucky that they kept the subscription for AT&T customers at all.  I’m not aware that AT&T has any free deals with other video streaming providers.

In order to get 4K HD, you’ll have to pay for your own subscription.

MAX is the only streaming service with any kind of association with ATT.

Thanks.  Not what I wanted to her.. But it is what it is.

I'm not giving up the $16 worth of benefits without any equivalent alternatives.
I bet AT&T is paying Max the $16 for the basic subscription.  Max can get more revenue by charging us the difference for those who want to upgrade...

@alokeprasad Max is now owned and operated by WBD (Warner Brothers/Discovery) so they are the ones who are making the decisions now. It wouldn't surprise me if down the road Max decides to discontinue the grandfathered AT&T migrated accounts with the HD Only tier and just make those accounts pay like everyone else for Max services. AT&T has nothing to do with that anymore. "HBO For Life" was a marketing tool way back when AT&T had a controlling interest in HBO Max. Those conditions have now changed.
