4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos not available

Hello. This past weekend I was able to watch movies on Max in 4K. Yesterday none of the content is available in 4K, Dolby Vision, or Dolby Atmos. I have not done anything different with my account but things changed for movie and series content. I would appreciate any information as to be able to work through this to start receiving 4K and Dolby Atmos again.
Thank you.

Give them time to fix any issues.  When HBO Max relaunched to MAX it included more content from their new partner Discovery which has been included with the new MAX APP.  Most likely those options will come back as most likely they are trying to work out all the kinks in their content.  Hope this helps.

@Seanyb24  WBD (Max) are trying to figure this out. There is a 6 month "grace" period where existing subscribers who had the Ad-free tier are supposed to continue to get the quality and content they currently have. The transition from AT&T to Max is not going smoothly, especially for those who got HBO Max as part of a bundle. The standalone subscribers with Ad-free as still getting 4k HDR on some platforms but not all. At the end of the grace period it's expected that all subscribers to Max will need to upgrade their accounts to the Ultimate tier which will include 4k HDR/Atmos, 3 consecutive users, more downloads, more 4k content. If AT&T allows for an upgrade path for the bundle subscribers is unknown. My feeling that all of the current subscribers, bundled and standalone, will have to upgrade or re-subscribe to Max to get the service they want.

I have the standalone and have lost 4k HDR on the ATV4k but the Max internal app on my LG and Samsung tv's are still 4k HDR.

AT&T contacted me. There is no more 4K for customers like me with phone and internet.

There's your answer then. AT&T is starting to wash its hands of legacy HBO Max because they no longer have an interest in it so it's all up to Max's new owner, WBD to decide what they want to do.

Hopefully AT&T will decide to offer an upgrade path for those who were getting HBO Max as part of a bundle before November ends (which is the end of the 6-month grace period). My guess is that they won't if you still want 4k HDR/Atmos.

My theory is that they’ll provide the Ad Free level ($9.99 mth) and if you want the ULTIMATE Ad Free level you’ll have to pay for a full subscription at $19.99 mth.

Why include a $20 perk when you can include a $10 perk?

Yes, you will have to upgrade to the Ultimate tier to get what you are getting now (4k HDR+Atmos) as part of a current bundle. The question is will AT&T offer an upgrade path in November for existing bundled subscribers, or will they require you to cancel and then re-subscribe as a new user to Max and not bundle it with your service.
