Is there issues logging in via web browser?

Hi, I've been trying to login to my HBO Max account the past few days via web browser, but it keeps saying " The email address or password is incorrect. Please try again. " , but it is correct.

Is this an issue that sometimes happens, or would there be a problem with the account itself? I am still logged in on my Android TV media player and content still plays fine on that, so I am guessing my account is OK and that there is some sort of login issue on PC?

I've tried multiple web browsers (I usually use Microsoft Edge or Chrome - both updated to latest versions) and tried clearing cookies and cache, but still can't login. Not sure what is going on.

Hello reylie99, let's look into why you're not able to login into HBO Max via web browser.

 

Try resyncing your account to HBO Max by following the steps below.

  1. Go to HBOMax.com on your computer and choose Sign In (upper-right).
    If you're already signed in, choose your profile (upper-right) and then choose Sign Out.
  2. Choose Sign in with a Provider.
  3. Choose who you subscribe through (your provider). If you don't see your provider, choose View All Providers and then select your provider.
  4. Enter the username and password for your provider account that includes HBO Max.
  5. First time signing in? You'll see 'Create Your HBO Max Account.'

If we find an existing HBO Max or HBO NOW account with the same email address, you'll need to do the following:

 
  • Verify Email Address: Choose this option to link the account that we found to your HBO Max subscription through your TV, internet, or mobile provider. After choosing this option, check your inbox for an email from HBO Max with a one-time code (the subject line is 'Here's Your One-Time Code'). Then, enter the code from the email and choose Link Accounts. If you don't get an email from HBO Max, see Didn't get one-time code.
