There are no known issues with HBO Max experiencing slow speeds on Fire TV at this time; however, it would be a pleasure to assist you with your HBO Max streaming issue while using Fire TV.

We recommend making sure your HBO Max is up to date as well as your Fire TV. If HBO Max proceeds to have slow streaming speeds, please visit our online HBO Max Help Center to troubleshoot. This page will also allow you to troubleshoot with using devices and services to stream HBO such as: TV, Cell Phone, Amazon Fire Tablet, Apple Tv, Roku, etc. You can see what devices are compatible here.

You can also try mentioned-below steps to solve this issue;

1. Turn off or unplug your phone or tablet with HBO Max.
2. Unplug the power from your network devices (modem, router, etc.).     Wait 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power to your modem and wait for it to connect to the internet (about a minute).
4. Reconnect the power to your router and wait for it to connect to the internet.
5. Turn on your phone or tablet. Then, open HBO Max and see if the problem is resolved.
