HBO Max service expired?

I began using HBO Max at its launch using my DirecTV subscription, which includes HBO. Now I can no longer access it, and HBO says my account is ”expired.” Was there some two week time limit on this. I never heard anything about that.

I had the same problem.  Never solved so I'm leaving ATT because they don't give a (Edited per community guidelines) abou customer service

Yep-same thing happened to me. Even though I have called 3 times they have not resolved it. Finally last night they blamed it on HBO saying they have had an outage and all customers are impacted. My outage is now in it’s 6th day and they said the outage could last 3-4 days. Why didn’t they tell me that before?? As soon as my contract is up so will be leaving AT & T. Customer service is worst since have ever experienced.

Day 12 of "3-5 days to resolve" and still no resolution. Other than AT&T admitting this is a "known issue" a couple times in these forums (off of some script not doubt) there is no practical information. 

I'm asking that EVERYONE here on this forum with this issue call AT&T wireless 800-866-1514 and DEMAND A BILL CREDIT. HBOMax is a $14.99 value.  That is what I'm going to insist on.  Then I'm going to see if I can reactivate HBOMax by getting AT&T to reconfigure their system as if I'm a newly eligible customer ... perhaps with an Internet SPEED UPGRADE. 

In the past I have gotten better attention by saying CANCEL SERVICE at the "Mr. AT&T" voice bot prompt when he asks how to direct the call.  This generally gets you connected to someone who can get something done in terms of credits or upgrade. 

If everyone does this rather than sitting around waiting AT&T WOULD REALLY START PAYING ATTENTION.  $ talks.  Post your results back here.

I am on Day 12 of not being able to access what I should per my acct overview and AT&T has not solved it but only to state it is an issue and they have escalated it to their network team! Very poor response AT&T!!! Looks like a complaint to the BBB is needed.

I hit Day 14 today. So I am demanding a $14.99 bill credit.  I came over from a competitor not even 60 days ago.  What a joke.  I suppose I will use the bill credit (assuming they agree to try and keep me a customer) to subscribe to HBOMax directly and hope there is some AT&T resolution in the next 30 days.

I called today received a $15 bill credit.  There was no pushback from the rep who was very friendly.  One tip:  When the Mr. AT&T voice bot ask what you are calling about say "Cancel Service".  It is my understanding this connects you to the "customer retention" reps, and in my experience these reps can typically get stuff done.  Report your progress.  Good luck.

Yep I did exactly this! They gave me a credit as well. And HBOMAX is working now.
