HBO Max Issue

I canceled my Directv service, which also ended my HBO Max.  Apparently I can't sign up now, using my email, because it says I already have an account (but it is inactive). How do I fix this??  I just want to sign up for a new account and pay for HBO Max directly.

We are here to help with your HBO Max concerns, @TDionisio.

 

We do understand how important it is to be able to sign up for HBO Max. HBO Max may still have your email on file from your previous subscription. 

 

You will want to sign up with a new email if it is causing you to not sign up with your current email. If that is not an option for you, please contact HBO Max Support for additional assistance with setting up a new account.

So, I can NEVER sign up for HBO Max using my own email anymore? That’s great. Thanks ATT/Directv. What a joke.
