HBO Max Cannot Verify My AT&T Subscription

I have an AT&T plan that includes HBO Max, but every time I try to log into HBO Max using my AT&T account log-in, I receive the following message:

CAN'T VERIFY YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Make sure you're using the ID and password for the AT&T service associated with HBO Max.  Confirm that you activated your HBO Max account with AT&T at https://www.att.com/myatt

SERVICE CODE:  H-18c6fed0-7a2c-4458-9ece-4b7002443c68

I have verified my account, and every AT&T rep I speak to cannot figure out why I cannot access HBO Max.

Good morning @tugymnast,

Thank you for your patience, let's work on this together so we can get you logged in and streaming HBO MAX.

Please share which AT&T services you have that include it and what devices you've tried signing in on so we can get started.

Hi Tfurrow! We are here to help with your HBO Max error message when signing in!

HBO Max is back up and running again, please follow the steps to set up your HBO Max again and log in:

  1. Ensure that you are using the correct username and password by going to AT&T's Direct Login page and signing in.
  2. Find HBO Max tile on the service list and click "Getting Started" or "Continue Streaming."
  3. This will cause the HBO Max page to open, and you will want to click on "Sign in" in the upper right corner of the screen.
  4. Select "Sign in with Provider" and choose AT&T from the list of available providers.
  5. You will either be rerouted back to the login for AT&T to verify your credentials or it will process through and you'll now be logged in.

After, log out of the HBO Max app and attempt to sign back in with your AT&T ID and password. Clear the app cache and reinstall the app to reset your online access and get the latest version of the app. Also, power cycle your device to reset your device.

Let us know if this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

Hi there, ! Your patience has been greatly appreciated. It has been reported that the HBO Max streaming error has been resolved.

You'll want to completely log out of the HBO Max app and attempt to sign in with your AT&T ID and password. If this recommended solution doesn't allow you to stream again, let us know so we can escalate a case for further investigation.

Thank you for sharing with the AT&T Community!

Thanks for updating us with the status of your HBO Max concerns, @Tfurrow.

To confirm the status of your subscription, have you reviewed your myAT&T account and confirm that the HBO MAX tile is still active?

You'll need to let us know the following information to better identify the next steps towards escalating this.

Thank you.
